Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to tackle various tasks efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently or as part of a team, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks in residential and commercial properties.
- Handle plumbing issues such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures.
- Conduct electrical repairs including changing light fixtures, outlets, and switches.
- Assemble furniture and equipment as needed.
- Paint walls, doors, and other surfaces to maintain property aesthetics.
- Install flooring, tiles, and drywall as required.
- Respond promptly to service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance practices is preferred but not required.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and provide solutions quickly.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
