NexStop Logistics is a Birmingham-based white-glove last-mile delivery company. We run 26-foot box trucks delivering and installing major appliances into residential homes across the Central Alabama. This is a skilled, physical, 5 am role — NOT a package delivery job.
What you’ll do: Deliver and install refrigerators, ranges, washers, dryers, and dishwashers into customers’ homes. Complete photo documentation at every stop. Start routes at 5:00–5:30 AM, 5–6 days/week including Saturdays.
Pay: $130–150/day · W-2 · Direct deposit · Monthly compliance bonus up to $150 · Career path to Lead Technician and Training roles.
You must have: Prior experience delivering and/or installing large appliances or furniture inside a customer’s home. Ability to lift 75+ lbs. Clean driving record. Early morning availability — 5 AM is not flexible.
If you’ve never carried an appliance through a residential doorway, this role is not the right fit yet.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist driver with loading and unloading appliances
- Ride along on delivery routes to homes and businesses
- Help place and position appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, washers, dryers)
- Assist with setup and installation (connecting components, ensuring proper placement)
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (100+ lbs with assistance)
- Comfortable performing hands-on, mechanical tasks and using basic tools
- Comfortable working inside customers’ homes in a professional manner
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred (Not Required)
- Delivery, moving, warehouse, or installation experience
- Experience with appliances or basic home installations
- Customer service experience
- Experience in a physically demanding role
