VPG is HIRING! We are searching for a Material Handler II for our very busy warehouse, and this person will have excellent attendance and an outstanding work ethic. If this sounds like you, then we want to meet you!
This position will be Monday-Friday from 6:00AM - 4:30PM and starting pay is $16.00 per hour with a pay increase at the 30 and 90-day marks.
Responsibilities:

Strict adherence to all safety procedures.

Must have good math and computer skills.

Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and pulling orders for shipments.

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bin locations according to organizational standards.

Maintains safe and clean work environment and workstations; sweep and organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

Process shipments into operator scan gun system.

Performs the final quality check for labels and packaging on finished product.

Load, adjust and operate shrink-wrap and banding machine.

Wear the proper safety equipment at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Read and understand written instructions.

Complete system transactions with a high level of accuracy.

Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.

Experience with reach truck, forklift.

Excellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.
