Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and teamwork, as you will assist both the kitchen staff and servers.
Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist in bussing tables by clearing away used dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly after guests finish their meals.
- Help maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies.
- Support food preparation efforts by assisting cooks as needed with basic tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients.
- Ensure that all food service items are properly stocked and readily available for staff use.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent service during busy shifts, demonstrating a strong sense of hospitality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in various roles within the kitchen and dining area.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
