What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software applications for near-real-time systems.
- Create drivers, hardware interfaces, and control logic for sensors, communications, and onboard equipment.
- Collaborate with electrical, systems, and software engineers to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
- Contribute to embedded system architecture, software design, integration, testing, and validation activities.
- Debug complex issues across hardware and software environments.
- Improve system performance, reliability, maintainability, and operational readiness.
- Participate in peer code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 8+ years of embedded software development experience.
- Strong experience with Rust and/or C/C++ in embedded environments.
- Knowledge of Linux, real-time or near-real-time systems, and hardware communication protocols including SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet.
- Experience working with sensors, radios, communication systems, or mission-critical applications is highly preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware interactions and deliver production-quality code.
