Summit Industrial Flooring is one of the fastest growing professional flooring contractors in the Midwest and Southeast. For over 35 years, the Summit Team has been installing epoxy coatings and concrete polished flooring for companies like General Electric, Mercedes, Volvo and many more. Our Southeast location in North Charleston, SC is seeking motivated and dependable members for our installation teams.
We are looking for new team members to be on our Crews that have a willingness to learn our business and experienced Crew Leaders with skills in concrete polishing and/or Epoxy floor coatings to teach and lead our Crew Members to strive and attain excellence.
Applicants for Crew Members should have experience in the industry with knowledge of surface preparation machines, (Grinders & Shot blasters) and a basic knowledge of epoxy coatings. Starting compensation is based on experience and performance.
Work starts at 6:30AM each day in North Charleston, and includes some weekends. Expect to travel 3-4 days per month.
Requirements:
- Spanish and English speaking preferred
- You must have at least 1 year of Industrial Coatings experience and be able to handle the equipment
- All candidates must be willing to travel and stay out of town
- Able to work overnights, Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays
- Valid driver’s license & Reliable transportation
- 18 years of age or older
- Able to pass a Pre-employment and Job drug screen, these happen on most every job we do.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- You must have dependable transportation
- OSHA 10 and 30 are a bonus
- Any NACE or SSPC/AMPP Certifications are a major bonus
