Minuteman Press is looking for a hands-on print production specialist with graphic design experience who takes pride in getting the details right. The ideal candidate brings an upbeat, can-do attitude, pays close attention to detail, and understands that a job done right the first time is what keeps clients coming back. You will spend most of your time running print production equipment, handling post-press bindery, and executing final print finishing. Experience with signage production is a major plus. You'll ensure jobs are print-ready and flawless upon completion — with some client-facing and design work on the side. Is this you?
Key Responsibilities
- Client Service & Estimating: Communicate professionally with clients in person, by phone, and via email regarding orders and proofs. Generate accurate job quotes using our order management software (training provided).
- Print & Signage Production: Operate digital printers and wide-format equipment. Execute signage production and finishing, including weeding vinyl, mounting to rigid substrates, and installing grommets (signage experience is a big plus).
- Post-Press & Bindery: Manage post-press operations and finishing, including the safe setup and operation of cutters, folders, booklet makers, and laminators.
Requirements
- Experience operating digital and wide-format print equipment in a production environment.
- Proven experience with post-press, print finishing, or bindery equipment.
- Signage production experience is a big plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).
- Ability to preflight and prep files for print production.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple jobs in a deadline-driven shop.
- Professional, reliable, and comfortable interacting with business clients.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
