Overview
Platinum Reconstruction is hiring a Reconstruction Technician to help complete residential insurance rebuild projects throughout the Lynchburg, Roanoke, and surrounding areas.
Job duties include:
- Drywall hanging, finishing, and repairs
- Interior painting
- Trim installation (baseboard, casing, crown, etc.)
- LVP and laminate flooring installation
- Basic demolition and job site preparation
- General punch-list and finish work
- Maintaining a clean and professional job site
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with drywall, paint, trim, or flooring preferred
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Preferred:
- Experience in residential remodeling or insurance restoration
- Knowledge of multiple trades
- Basic tool set

Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of various trades including carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing techniques
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for accurate project execution
- Ability to operate power tools such as saws, drills, grinders; hand tools; heavy equipment; and specialized machinery safely
- Knowledge of construction inspection procedures to ensure compliance with safety codes and project specifications
- Experience with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of construction management principles to support project timelines and quality standards
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and contractors effectively
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation for job site access
