Building Blocks Children's Center (BBCC) is a premier 4 Star child care center serving children 6 weeks to 5 years located in the NW area of Greensboro. We are not a part of a large chain, but a family owned business. We opened in March of 2013 and have been successfully meeting the child care and educational needs of our parents and children. Our goal is to provide high quality education, and to promote social-emotional, physical and intellectual growth during the important early education years.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care & support to all children; including hygiene and discipline
- Connect & communicate with parents and visitors
- Give lunch breaks and bathroom breaks
- Provide coverage in classrooms when needed
- Daily paperwork for attendance & meal count in teachers absence
- Supervise nap time, as well as outdoor time
- Help with minor upkeep of the center
- Teacher must ensure the safety & welfare of each child, providing the highest quality care and meeting goals and objectives of BBCC
- Teacher must arrive on time and will work approved schedule
- Must comply with all the policies, rules, and regulations at BBCC
- Required to have yearly continued education credit hours.
- Reports to the center Directors
Qualified Candidates Must:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- First Aid/CPR certified
- Early Childhood Education Credential
- State qualifying background check letter
- TB test results and Medical Report
- Have a happy demeanor and a love for children
- Genuinely care about children and their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
- Be knowledgeable about state licensing requirements and understand that we will be in compliance at all times.
- Be clean, neat, and a good role model for impressionable children.
- Have demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice.
- Complete Health and Safety training within 2 weeks of hire
- Have SIDS training or willing to undergo the classBenefits:
