About the Position
Liftology is a family-owned home accessibility company providing installation and service of mobility and accessibility equipment throughout Arkansas. We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Mobility Installation Technician to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the skilled trades, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, construction, equipment installation, or troubleshooting who wants to develop specialized skills in the mobility industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot mobility and accessibility equipment
- Work with stairlifts, ramps, patient lifts, vehicle lifts, vertical platform lifts, elevators, and related equipment
- Perform residential and commercial installations throughout Arkansas
- Assist with job-site evaluations and equipment assessments
- Read and follow installation manuals, diagrams, and technical instructions
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Communicate professionally with customers, manufacturers, and team members
- Maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and service vehicle
- Travel throughout Arkansas, with some overnight travel required
Qualifications
- Experience in a skilled trade such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, construction, elevators, equipment installation, wiring, or troubleshooting is a plus
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new equipment and technical procedures quickly
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work safely on job sites and comfortably enter and exit a service/delivery vehicle
Trade school graduates and veterans are encouraged to apply.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Typical hours are approximately 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, depending on job schedules
- $25–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Paid holidays
- Paid personal time off
- Company vehicle and tools provided
- On-the-job training and opportunities to develop specialized technical skills
- Some overnight travel required
