KBW Financial Staffing is partnered with a well-established and growing manufacturing organization seeking a hands-on Controller to lead its accounting and finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who enjoys balancing strategic financial leadership with day-to-day accounting operations. The Controller will work closely with executive leadership, helping drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and continued growth.

- Lead all day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements for internal leadership and external reporting.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team while strengthening accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Partner with executive leadership by providing financial analysis and operational reporting to support business decisions.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous process improvements.
- Prepare capital expenditure plans and perform return-on-investment (ROI) analyses.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and operational reporting tools.
- Establish and monitor credit policies and financial risk management initiatives.
- Oversee the financial administration and optimization of the company's ERP system.
- Support various HR-related functions, including payroll oversight, employee onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, recruiting support, and PTO management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of four years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and cost accounting.
- Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Cost accounting experience is required.
- Experience working within ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
