Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the admissions process from initial inquiry to resident move-in.
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents, families, hospitals, and referral sources.
Conduct tours of the facility and effectively communicate the benefits of our services.
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and business office teams to ensure a seamless transition for new residents.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Develop and nurture relationships with hospitals, physicians, and discharge planners to generate referrals.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in admissions within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is preferred.
Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement systems, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate support to residents and families.
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office Suite.
