Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using Toast POS system
- Develop and suggest beverage recipes to keep our menu fresh and innovative
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies efficiently while minimizing waste
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy hours
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest consumption for safety
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment, preferably within fine dining or upscale hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of cocktail mixing techniques, beverage recipe development, and mixology principles
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Experience with wine knowledge, craft beer selection, spirits expertise, and food pairing recommendations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele effectively
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume shifts using effective time management skills
- Background in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on hospitality industry standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and food industry best practices is a plus
