Material Receiver:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt of goods, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting our e-commerce operations. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the ability to operate various equipment safely.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring all items match purchase orders.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move products within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain the storage area to optimize space and accessibility for all stock.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare orders for shipping, ensuring timely dispatch.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Skills
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems is essential.
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations is a plus.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Experience with order picking and stock management is preferred.
Shipping Dock Auditor:
Job Summary:
The Shipping Dock Auditor performs spot audits of completed orders to verify that warehouse pickers selected the correct materials and quantities before shipments are loaded onto outbound trucks. This role ensures shipment accuracy, identifies discrepancies, and helps maintain inventory integrity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform spot checks on completed orders prior to loading.
- Verify picked materials against pick tickets, shipping documents, or system records.
- Identify and report picking errors, shortages, overages, or damaged materials.
- Ensure shipments meet quality and accuracy standards before departure.
- Communicate discrepancies to warehouse supervisors and picking personnel for correction.
- Maintain audit records and documentation.
- Assist with inventory accuracy by identifying recurring picking and inventory issues.
- Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or order fulfillment.
- Inventory experience preferred.
- Familiarity with barcode scanners, RF devices, or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
