Columbia-based building materials distribution company with over 50 years in business is seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Manager Trainee to join our team. This full-time position is designed for individuals looking to grow into a warehouse leadership role within a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily warehouse operations and material flow
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Pull and prepare customer orders
- Load and unload trucks and trailers
- Stack and organize building materials
- Operate forklifts and saw equipment safely
- Cut beams and lumber to specifications
- Learn inventory control, scheduling, and warehouse leadership responsibilities
- Support productivity, safety, and team operations
Qualifications
- Warehouse experience preferred, especially in building materials or distribution
- Forklift and saw experience required
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physical environment
- Strong work ethic with leadership potential
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Good communication and organizational skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
