We're seeking candidates with hands-on experience in one or more of the following fields:
- Electronic security
- Audio-visual systems
- Voice/data infrastructure
- Cabling and system maintenance
- You should be able to work independently or collaboratively, with a proactive mindset and a solid work ethic.
Electronic Security Technician
- Install, service, and program security systems (Intrusion Detection, Access Control, CCTV)
- Diagnose and repair system issues
- Document work procedures and progress
- Collaborate with other trades (electricians, locksmiths, carpenters)
- Perform cable installation and device setup
- Use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools for troubleshooting and installation
Audio-Visual Technician
- Install and program AV systems (e.g., AMX, Crestron, Extron, Harman)
- Troubleshoot AV issues and perform system maintenance
- Support system documentation and user updates
- Assist and coordinate with other trades
- Handle cabling, device installation, and system calibration
Fiber-Optic Technician
- Install and service fiber optic cable assemblies
- Test, terminate, and troubleshoot fiber connections
- Use optical and circuit analysis tools
- Maintain test records and project documentation
- Support infrastructure build-outs and cable management
Overall Requirements:
- DCJS Electronic Security License (or ability to obtain one)
- Flexible schedule (some nights/weekends)
- Comfortable with ladders, lifts, and physical labor
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in varied conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Eager to learn and grow with new technologies
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check and obtain military base access
- Familiarity with multimeters and Ohm’s Law
- Ability to read and follow prints and specifications
Bonus Skills/Experience:
- Experience with IP-based systems and AV platforms
- Cable termination (Cat 6, coaxial, fiber, BNC)
- Solid multitasking and prioritization ability
- Strong foundation in cable installation

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
