We are looking for a reliable Monday Meal Delivery Driver to join our Simple Plan team.
This position is for our weekly Monday delivery route. Meals are already packed, labeled, and organized before you arrive.
Your job is to load your personal vehicle by stop number, complete the delivery route, send delivery confirmation texts to customers, record returned delivery bags, and return to Simple Plan after the route is complete.
Our ideal candidate is self-driven, dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently. This is a great fit for someone looking for consistent Monday income and a role with clear expectations.
A typical Monday shift starts around 11:00am–12:00pm depending on the route and usually takes 4–6 hours. Most routes are around 20–30 delivery stops, depending on weekly order volume. The route is built ahead of time so you can plan accordingly. Most deliveries are completed in Eau Claire, Altoona, Chippewa Falls, Menomonie, and surrounding areas.
Since we make prepared healthy meals, you will not be waiting on customers, preparing food, or stopping back to our location after each delivery. The delivery process is organized with a printed route packet, stop numbers, customer instructions, and simple checklists to follow. Pay is $25/hour plus IRS mileage reimbursement for business miles driven. This is a part-time W-2 employee position.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Reports to work on time, well-groomed, and ready to complete the route. Punches in on site through Sling. Reviews the delivery route packet before leaving. Records starting and ending odometer readings for mileage reimbursement. Loads personal vehicle by delivery stop number. Delivers customer meal orders accurately and safely. Follows customer delivery instructions listed on the route sheet. Sends real-time delivery confirmation texts from the Simple Plan delivery number. Records returned delivery bags on the route packet. Communicates delivery issues through Sling when needed. Returns to Simple Plan after the route with delivery bags, route packet, and completed mileage information. Follows Simple Plan delivery procedures, customer communication standards, and safety expectations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time. Must be able to enter and exit vehicle repeatedly during the route. Must be able to lift and carry meal delivery bags/coolers. Must be comfortable walking up steps, entering apartment buildings, and carrying bags to customer doors. Must be able to use a smartphone for navigation and customer delivery texts.
REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver’s license. Reliable personal vehicle. Current auto insurance. Smartphone with data/camera. Consistent Monday availability. Comfortable driving in Eau Claire, Altoona, Chippewa Falls, Menomonie, and surrounding areas. Organized, punctual, and dependable. Friendly and professional with customers. Must be able to pass any required driving record or insurance review.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Delivery experience is helpful, but not required. We can teach the delivery process. We are mainly looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and takes pride in doing things the right way. Skills can be taught, character and attitude cannot.
