Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to support smooth restaurant flow.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of pots, pans, and bulk supplies while maintaining proper ergonomic techniques.
- Support food safety management by ensuring all dishware and kitchen tools are properly cleaned and stored.
- Participate in basic food handling and preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff, including assisting with food prep during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, kitchen floors, and work areas through regular cleaning routines.
Requirements
- Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred; familiarity with food service environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures is essential for maintaining hygiene compliance.
