Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen actively to their vehicle concerns, and provide expert guidance on recommended services.
- Prepare detailed auto estimates using dealership management software, clearly explaining repair options and costs.
- Coordinate with service technicians to schedule repairs, ensuring timely completion of work while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission diagnostics to maximize customer value.
- Manage service write-ups efficiently, documenting all customer interactions and vehicle information accurately.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments securely while maintaining accurate financial records.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service management background is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including oil changes, brake repair, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Experience in auto estimating software and service writing is essential for success in this role.
- Familiarity with automotive sales processes and vehicle maintenance schedules enhances your effectiveness as an advisor.
- Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, suspension systems, tire services, and automotive repair techniques is highly advantageous.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while demonstrating integrity and attention to detail.
