Position Overview
This isn’t your average front-desk role. As the Service Writer, you’ll be the face and voice of the customer experience—responsible for building relationships, diagnosing needs, and delivering seamless service from drop-off to pick-up. This commission-based position offers a realistic earning potential of $80,000–$100,000+ annually, with top performers earning even more.

What You’ll Do
- Welcome and assist customers with professionalism and care
- Listen actively and document vehicle concerns accurately
- Build and explain detailed repair orders with clarity and confidence
- Communicate with technicians to relay accurate estimates and timelines
- Present and explain repairs in a way customers can trust and understand
- Coordinate appointments and manage workflow for maximum efficiency
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
- Process payments, warranty paperwork, and customer authorizations
- Maintain detailed service records and uphold shop standards
- Support a clean, organized, and customer-friendly front office
What You Bring to the Table
- Previous experience as a Service Writer, Advisor, or in customer-facing automotive roles (required)
- Strong working knowledge of automotive systems and repair workflows
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid organization and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm, confident, and solutions-focused under pressure
- Experience with shop management systems (Tekmetric)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
