Responsibilities:
- Assemble and construct various structures, including frameworks, walls, roofs, and cabinets
- Perform construction painting and finishing tasks
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete carpentry projects
- Conduct metal stud framing for commercial and residential buildings
- Execute trim carpentry work, such as installing baseboards, crown molding, and window casings
- Repair water damage and restore affected areas to their original condition
- Install cabinets and other fixtures according to specifications
- Assist with masonry projects as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in various carpentry skills, including metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques
- Knowledge of water damage restoration procedures
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Note: Roofing experience is a plus but not required for this position.
