This is an ENTRY LEVEL, day shift hours position.
We are looking for a reliable, patient-focused Radiology Tech Aide to support our imaging team and help ensure smooth, efficient daily operations. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, compassionate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment. This is day time hours with some weekends. Great job for a college student interested in radiology.
Responsibilities
- Assist Radiologic Technologists with preparing exam rooms and equipment
- Escort patients to and from imaging rooms; help with positioning and comfort as needed
- Perform patient intake tasks including verifying identification and screening forms
- Clean, stock, and maintain imaging rooms and supply areas
- Help with transporting patients via wheelchair
- Support front-desk and clinical staff with workflow needs
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including MRI safety policies
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a calm, professional environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior healthcare or patient-care experience preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to lift, move, and assist patients when necessary
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
