UofL Health is looking to expand the PCU Float Pool RN teams at: Jewish Hospital, Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, & UofL Hospital!
- RNs must have 2+ years of RN acute care inpatient experience to qualify.
- We are looking for part- and full-time 7p-7a RNs.
- You will only float amongst the PCU units at the facility you are hired into. This is not a system float.
- PCU Float Base Pay Rate: $55.00/hour
- Shift differential: $4.25/hour anytime you work 4 or more hours from 3p-7a
- Weekend Incentive Pay (for Weekend Only positions): $20.00/hour

About the Role
The RN Float PCU provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The Float Pool provides support to our inpatient units. Float pool staffing provides a crucial service for our customers, not only to ensure safe quality patient care, but provides support for our unit colleagues as well. You will be offered opportunities to expand your knowledge and maintain an expansive skill set with a variety of patients throughout the facility that will enable you to become a resource to others.

Eligibility Requirements
Education:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program (required)
- All new-hire Associate Degree Registered Nurses (for UofL Hospital only) are required to start an approved BSN program within one (1) year of hire and complete an approved BSN program within three (3) years of hire.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program (preferred)
Licensure:
- Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky (required)
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 prior years of RN work experience in an acute care inpatient setting
Certification:
- Basic Life Saving (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
Pay: $55.00 per hour
