About Us
Present Company Café & Events opened in 2026 and is located in a standalone building on the same property as the Hampton Inn & Suites in Gunbarrel, sharing the hotel's parking lot. While we operate as our own café and event venue, we also have the opportunity to support hotel guests, private events, and future catering for the Hampton Inn.
Our property includes:
- A full-service coffee shop
- A large private conference room
- A spacious event venue
- A rooftop event space
Today, our primary focus is serving our café guests, but our vision extends well beyond daily café service. As we continue to grow, we'll expand our private events, catering, and hospitality offerings for both the community and the Hampton Inn.
We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us from the very beginning.
Position Overview
We're hiring a Café Chef to lead our kitchen operations.
Your primary responsibility will be preparing fresh breakfast and lunch offerings for our café during morning service. You'll also oversee inventory, ordering, food quality, and kitchen organization while helping shape our menu alongside the General Manager.
As our business grows, you'll have the opportunity to expand into catering, private events, and hotel food service. As a Café Chef, you'll play an important role in building the kitchen from the ground up and, when the time comes to expand the team, you'll have the opportunity to recruit, train, and lead future kitchen staff.
Previous leadership experience is a plus, as we're looking for someone who is excited to grow into a larger leadership role.
