Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Construction Field Superintendent to lead field operations and oversee the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring project safety, schedule performance, quality standards, and overall execution excellence.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at coordinating multiple moving parts on active job sites, and takes pride in delivering well-executed commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Operations
- Oversee daily activities across active commercial construction job sites.
- Coordinate and direct subcontractors to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule alignment.
- Manage site logistics, sequencing, and field coordination to ensure efficient project execution.
Scheduling & Project Execution
- Manage short-term look-ahead schedules and monitor project progress.
- Identify potential delays and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure timely project completion.
Communication & Reporting
- Serve as the primary on-site leader for subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Provide regular updates regarding project status, site conditions, and potential risks.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and project documentation.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA standards and company safety procedures across all job sites.
- Promote a strong safety-first culture among project teams and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and documentation.
Quality Control
- Oversee inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities.
- Ensure all work meets project plans, specifications, and quality expectations.
Schedule
Monday – Friday | Full-Time
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Strong background in tenant improvements, renovations, or ground-up construction projects.
- Ability to manage multiple job sites and shifting priorities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in occupied or live commercial environments.
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
