Job Summary

Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their specific concerns, medical history, and treatment goals
- Educate clients on pain management strategies and recommend appropriate therapies or self-care practices
- Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records in compliance with licensing regulations and clinic policies
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive wellness plans for clients requiring specialized care
- Provide excellent patient service by listening attentively, addressing questions, and creating a relaxing atmosphere that fosters trust and comfort
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist required; certification in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy preferred
- Proven experience in patient assessment and delivering customized massage treatments
- Familiarity with physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management
- Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and address their unique needs
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the human body’s response to various massage techniques
- Previous experience with patient care documentation and maintaining confidentiality is essential
