We are seeking a passionate and energetic Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team and support the development of children aged 2 to 3 years old. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to foster early childhood growth in a nurturing environment, working from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working with young children, possess a strong understanding of childhood development, and be committed to creating a safe and engaging classroom experience. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote early childhood education and developmental milestones
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical growth through positive interactions and caregiving
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities such as play, arts and crafts, story time, and outdoor activities
- Support classroom management by assisting with diapering, feeding, and nap routines for toddlers as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress, needs, and daily experiences
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early education best practices
- Experience in toddler care (ages 2-3) including diapering, and nurturing routines
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment dedicated to early childhood education
