Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will ensure our hotel or residential spaces are spotless, welcoming, and maintained to the highest standards. Your energy and commitment will directly contribute to guest satisfaction and the overall success of our property.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, suites, or residential units, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, lobbies, and outdoor spaces as needed.
- Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing, and waxing to preserve a pristine environment.
- Manage sanitation procedures by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens (if applicable), and high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or equipment safely using manual handling techniques.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained and stocked for daily operations.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning, janitorial services, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience with outdoor work or groundskeeping can be beneficial.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with guests or residents in a friendly manner.
