Greater Kalamazoo Auto Auction is looking to add a receptionist to our team.
Here are few of the duties:
- Processing payments, issuing titles and gate passes.
- Organizing files for billing, customer and client records, etc.
- Directing visitors & dealers in person or via phone.
- Responding to all customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner.
- Scanning all completed documents.
- Print bidder badges
- Be the first point-of-contact for all incoming phone calls
- Register new dealerships and representatives for sale day.
- Complete all online registrations for sale day.
- Call customers that have titles left at the auction for pickup.
- Process mail/over night deliveries for FedEx/UPS
- Generating sales reports for clients.
- Assist the other auction team members with tasks as needed.
A desired candidate must have:
- Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with customers, vendors and other employees
- Organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly
- Time management skills to prioritize and complete a side variety of tasks throughout the day
- Patience and listening skills to respond appropriate and interact positively with upset customers
- Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all customers, such as being personable and attentive
