Avendano Health is seeking a reliable and patient-focused Phlebotomist / Lab Assistant to support our growing appointment-based medical laboratory and wellness practice in Boca Raton.
This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible supplemental income, per diem healthcare work, or short scheduled shifts in a professional outpatient setting.
Position Details:
- Per Diem / PRN (As Needed)
- Flexible 2–4 hour shifts based on patient demand
- Appointment-based scheduling
- $16/hour
- $40 minimum guaranteed per scheduled shift
- Boca Raton location with potential mobile opportunities
Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
- Process and prepare specimens for laboratory pickup
- Maintain accurate specimen labeling and documentation
- Assist with patient intake and clinic workflow as needed
- Maintain professionalism, cleanliness, and patient comfort
- Follow safety and infection control procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience required
- Strong communication and reliability
- Comfortable in a patient-facing outpatient environment
- Dependable transportation and flexible availability
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
