Vinyl Wrap & PPF Installer — Contract / Hourly
Canvas Advertising is seeking an experienced Vinyl Wrap and Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer for flexible, project-based work in Austin, Texas.
We produce and install vehicle wraps, commercial fleet graphics, food-truck wraps, storefront vinyl, signs, and protective film. We need a dependable installer who values clean execution, proper prep, and professional results.

Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces and install vinyl wraps, lettering, decals, and commercial graphics
- Install PPF on vehicle panels when assigned
- Trim, finish, post-heat, and inspect work to professional standards
- Work with printed and laminated vinyl, including commercial and food-truck graphics
- Assist with measuring, layout, material handling, and installation planning
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and protect customer vehicles and property
- Identify installation issues early and communicate clearly with the production team
Required Qualifications
- Proven professional experience installing vehicle wraps
- Portfolio with clear photos or videos of previous work
- Strong attention to alignment, seams, edges, corners, and final finish quality
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned installations on schedule
- Reliable transportation and dependable communication
- Ability to safely work around vehicles, ladders, and large-format materials
Preferred Qualifications
- PPF installation experience
- Experience with commercial vehicle wraps, food trucks, trailers, storefront vinyl, or wall graphics
- Window tint experience
- Familiarity with 3M, Avery Dennison, KPMF, TeckWrap, or similar vinyl systems
- Ability to perform a paid practical installation test
Pay
- Vinyl Wrap Installer: approximately $25–$40 per hour, based on experience
- PPF Installer: approximately $35–$60 per hour, based on experience and proven quality
- Lead installers who can manage jobs independently may qualify for higher rates or day rates
