Kent County Prosecutor's Office has two
Clerk II openings, as described below. When you submit your application, please indicate on the supplemental question whether you are interested in the Victim Rights Unit position or the Family Law position.
Clerk II - Victim Rights Unit
The successful candidate will perform clerical work of a moderately difficult to complex nature. Job duties include, but are not limited to, data entry; answering a multi-line phone; coordinating the payment of witness fees; greeting and assisting victims and witnesses when they report for court hearings. This position has a great deal of interaction with attorneys, law enforcement agencies, other county justice agencies, and the general public.
Clerk II - Family Law
The successful candidate will perform clerical work of a moderately difficult to complex nature. Job duties include, but are not limited to, data entry; answering a multi-line phone; processing legal documents of various kinds in matters involving the establishment of paternity and child support; completing screens in the MICSES application; processing incoming referrals; and other clerical duties as assigned.
