Job Duties:
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and coach 4+ landscape foremen and crews, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Project Planning: Plan projects two weeks in advance, ensuring all resources, schedules, and materials are aligned for seamless execution.
- Client and Team Communication: Communicate professionally with clients, project managers, salespeople, and coworkers. Ensure prompt responses: return calls and texts within 30 minutes, emails within 24 hours.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues or changes on job sites swiftly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and quality.
- Jobsite Layout & Planning: Expertly read drawings and proposals, lead jobsite layout, and manage project planning to ensure smooth and accurate execution.
- Quality Control: Ensure high standards of work are maintained on all projects, inspecting installations and guiding crews to meet quality expectations.
- Customer Experience: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients have a positive experience and their needs are met throughout the project.
- Software Utilization: Use Asset software to track crew hours, jobsite efficiency, and compare budgeted hours/materials to actuals, optimizing project management.
- Crew Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule crew assignments and project timelines two weeks in advance to ensure resource availability and efficient workflow.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee deliveries, purchase orders, and subcontractor schedules to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
- Foreman Meetings: Conduct one-on-one meetings with each foreman every two weeks to provide feedback, review performance, and discuss project status.
Ideal Candidate:
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, and background check.
- Must possess a Valid driver’s license required with a insurable driving record.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a landscape or construction foreman or superintendent, with a strong understanding of project management and team leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, coworkers, and vendors.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and training through positive reinforcement, motivating teams to perform at their best.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for project planning, reporting, and communication.
- Experience operating Skid Loaders, Excavators, and Lasers, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
- Available to work full-time, Monday – Friday from 6:45 AM – 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
