Overview
CareRev is onboarding Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses (RN) in Bristol, CT! This position offers a flexible schedule that you can make yourself. As a Labor & Delivery RN, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive obstetric care, ensuring safety, comfort, and positive outcomes for patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Your expertise will contribute to a supportive atmosphere that fosters trust and confidence among patients and their families.
Minimum of 1 year full-time experience with Labor & Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (all specialty areas) nursing within the last year required.

Requirements
- Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
- Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications and completion of basic and/or intermediate electronic fetal monitoring courses.
- Must have a minimum 1 year full-time experience with Labor & Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (all specialty areas) nursing within the last year.
- Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
- Strong assessment skills surrounding pregnancy and labor including high risk cases. Must be able to identify alterations in the normal labor process and intervene when necessary.
- Experience circulating c-sections and providing post-anesthesia care following a c-section or vaginal delivery.
- Must show competency with infant assessment, stabilization, and electronic fetal heart monitoring and interpretation.
