Chamblee Ace Hardware is accepting applications for part-time and/or full-time Cashiers. We are a locally-owned and operated business with a passion and commitment to serving our neighbors and supporting our community.
As a Cashier at Chamblee Ace Hardware, you will be responsible for offering legendary customer service by accurately and efficiently ringing out customer purchases and processing returns. Other duties will include Ace Rewards sign-ups, greeting customers, answering phones, maintaining gift & home decor area, assisting and directing customers, miscellaneous clerical duties, cleaning and housekeeping, etc. This position requires someone with outstanding people skills, a genuine interest in helping others, a "don't say no" attitude, and a willingness to go the extra mile to make sure our neighbors recognize 'something different' about our store atmosphere and culture. Our structured training program ensures our new employees become proficient at performing all store services as well as maintaining safety and security.
Education/Training:
High School or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Cashier experience or previous customer service experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.
