Responsibilities:
- Coordinate donor collection appointments for hematopoietic progenitor cell and mononuclear cell procedures while balancing timing goals, donor preferences, and patient care needs.
- Partner with workup specialists and collection center contacts to secure appointment availability, verify logistics, and share finalized schedules with all relevant parties.
- Handle a high volume of active scheduling requests at once, adjusting plans quickly when conflicts, barriers, or urgent changes arise.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with apheresis and collection centers to support smooth coordination and dependable communication.
- Resolve scheduling challenges by evaluating options, escalating when appropriate, and helping teams reach timely decisions that support transplant-related priorities.
- Provide consistent follow-through on appointment details, ensuring information is accurate, current, and clearly communicated in a fully remote setting.
- Previous experience in scheduling or appointment coordination, preferably within healthcare, medical services, or a related clinical environment.
- Familiarity with patient scheduling processes and the coordination of time-sensitive appointments.
- Understanding of collection center, apheresis, or similar medical operations is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external partners.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, solve scheduling conflicts, and stay organized in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Experience interacting with patients or supporting patient-facing processes, including contact coordination and demographic-related information handling
