Great part time opportunity Monday to Friday from 6 pm to 10pm. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
- Handle various chemical agents safely to disinfect surfaces, sanitize restrooms, and maintain overall hygiene standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness of floors through buffing, polishing, and proper floor care techniques to ensure a professional appearance.
- Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash bags while ensuring waste is disposed of properly.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with chemical handling safety procedures.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed or hazards identified during cleaning routines.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and chemical dispensing tools.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely and adhere strictly to chemical handling safety procedures.
- Physical capability to perform lifting, manual handling tasks, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
- Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific tasks.
