Duties
- Perform routine inspections, periodic maintenance, and repairs on material handling equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, to include liquid propane, gas, and diesel engines, electric motors, transmissions, drive axles, differentials, hydraulic systems, brake systems, steering systems, electrical systems, lift systems, etc.
- Utilize Digital tools or apps to document work performed, schedule future maintenance tasks, and track equipment history.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret schematics and troubleshoot complex electrical or mechanical problems effectively.
- Support customer service efforts by communicating technical solutions clearly and professionally to clients or internal teams.
Requirements
- Ability to to work under pressure and follow Service operating procedures without fail.
- Proven experience working in industrial environments with hands-on equipment maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and electrical blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
- Prior experience using software for maintenance management is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service orientation combined with effective communication skills in English/Spanish.
- Relevant certifications such as industrial mechanic experience or industrial electrician credentials are preferred.
