Spex in the City, a family-owned optometrist office in the Roosevelt Neighborhood of Seattle, is seeking an Optometrist to join our team. This position offers flexible part-time employment, with a 1-3 day per week schedule.

We’re looking for a part-time Optometrist to help us ensure our community has access to the best optical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess vision, detect ocular diseases or abnormalities.
- Diagnose and treat sight problems, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism.
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as necessary.
- Performs verbal interview with patient to understand ocular history, reason for their visit as well as visual wants and needs.
- Monitor patients’ eye health, recommend appropriate patient follow-up and referrals.
- Hands-off patient to support staff with recap discussion.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State OD license
- Current malpractice Insurance

Pay: $100.00 - $135.00 per hour
