Thursday, Friday & Saturday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Silvermist Poconos with Pyramid Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our team on a part-time day shift schedule. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
As a BHT, you will provide direct support to clients, help maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, and play an essential role in the recovery process.
Support daily treatment programming and client engagement
Assist with client admissions and orientation processes
Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs
Monitor client safety and conduct routine bed checks
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support when needed
Facilitate or assist with educational and recreational group activities
Observe medication line and report any concerns
Conduct client and property searches in accordance with program policies
Support treatment goals and encourage positive recovery behaviors
Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality standards
Collaborate effectively with clinical and medical staff
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver's license preferred
Previous behavioral health, mental health, addiction treatment, or human services experience preferred
Entry-level candidates with a passion for helping others are encouraged to apply
Experience facilitating groups or activities is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional during crisis situations
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
