The Opportunity
The Construction Manager will oversee multiple custom home and remodeling projects from pre-construction through completion. This individual will serve as the primary field leader responsible for scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, client communication, and project execution.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, solutions-oriented, and capable of building strong relationships with homeowners, vendors, and trade partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple residential construction and remodeling projects simultaneously
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and deliveries
- Review plans, specifications, and project scopes
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, progress, and cleanliness
- Maintain project schedules and documentation
- Communicate project updates and timelines with clients
- Identify and resolve construction challenges before they impact schedules or budgets
- Verify completed work and maintain high craftsmanship standards
- Coordinate project closeouts, punch lists, and final walkthroughs
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential construction management experience
- Experience with custom homes, renovations, or high-end remodeling projects preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong understanding of residential construction practices and sequencing
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong leadership presence and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Buildertrend or similar construction management software preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Structure
Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications. Superb Custom Homes prefers to engage this role as an Independent Contractor and may provide reimbursement for approved business-related vehicle expenses and performance-based bonus opportunities. An employee arrangement may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
