Savvee Inc. is seeking a Closeout Specialist to support our federal client in a hybrid environment located in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will support enterprise program management operations by leading contract and project closeout activities across the portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for executing technical, administrative, and financial closeout actions, ensuring all contracts are properly completed, documented, and compliant with federal requirements. The position enables efficient contract lifecycle completion, improves financial and procurement accuracy, and ensures audit readiness across the program.

Leading execution of contract and project closeout activities from substantial completion through final contract closeout.

Preparing, reviewing, and submitting complete closeout documentation in accordance with federal requirements.

Executing contract closeout actions within PRISM and ensuring all contract data is accurate, complete, and auditable.

Coordinating with contracting officers, program managers, and financial teams to ensure timely closeout execution.

Performing financial reconciliation activities, including validation of invoices, obligations, and expenditures.

Supporting final billing processes and resolving discrepancies in coordination with finance and contracts teams.

Maintaining and organizing contract files and records to ensure compliance and audit readiness.

Ensuring all closeout activities comply with FAR, TAR, and agencyspecific policies and procedures.

Tracking and reporting on status of closeout actions across multiple contracts and task orders.

Identifying and resolving issues that may delay contract closeout and propose corrective actions.

Supporting audit and compliance reviews by providing accurate documentation and responding to inquiries.

Providing recommendations to improve closeout processes, documentation standards, and reporting practices.

Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.

Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field

Seven or more years of experience in government contract closeout, contract administration, or project controls within a federal environment

Demonstrated experience supporting full contract lifecycle activities with emphasis on closeout execution

Strong working knowledge of FAR, TAR, and federal contract closeout requirements

Handson experience executing closeout actions in PRISM or similar acquisition systems

Experience performing financial reconciliation using systems such as Deltek or Delphi

Proven ability to manage multiple contracts or task orders simultaneously

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, reporting, and financial data

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills

Excellent written communication skills supporting documentation and compliance reviews

Ability to work effectively with contracting officers, financial teams, and program staff

Ability to operate in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment

Must have the ability to obtain the client’s Public Trust clearance

Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AIassisted tools
