Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selections, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail store product knowledge, and experience with sales transactions. Bilingual abilities and previous retail experience are a plus. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them
- Operate POS systems and handle retail sales transactions accurately using cash register operations and cash handling procedures
- Upsell products and promote special offers through effective communication and product demos
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is well-maintained and visually appealing through merchandising
- Manage product demos to engage customers and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate cash drawer handling and perform basic math calculations for transactions
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and cash register operations is highly desirable
- Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently are essential
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
