Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques. This role requires attention to detail, technical knowledge, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Set up welding machines and select appropriate
materials, tools, and welding methods.
Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, FCAW, stick, or other welding processes.
· Inspect welds for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
· Cut, fit, grind components as needed.
· Operate hand tools, grinders, torches, and forklifts, Jib cranes, saws and Iron worker etc.
Equipment safely.
· Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
· Adhere to company and industry safety standards at all times.
· Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and engineers to complete projects.
· Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certification preferred).
· Proven experience as a welder or completion of an apprenticeship program.
· Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, etc.).
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
· Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
· Indoor and outdoor job sites, sometimes in confined spaces or elevated areas.
· Exposure to heat, sparks, and metal fumes (proper protective equipment provided).
Pay: $24.34 - $29.31 per hour
