Material Handler

We are currently seeking a Material Handler who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in supporting production operations through effective material management.
Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Material Handler, you will help ensure that materials, parts, and supplies move efficiently throughout our warehouse and production areas. Your work will support daily manufacturing operations and help maintain an organized and safe workplace. You will work closely with warehouse personnel, production teams, and supervisors to ensure materials are available when needed. Success in this role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Move, handle, and store materials and parts within the warehouse and production areas.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment while following all safety procedures.
- Operate forklifts, manual jacks, clamp trucks, dollies, lift trucks, and computerized scales.
- Maintain accurate inventory by identifying, labeling, stocking, and tracking materials.
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation, inventory records, and delivery logs.
Additional Responsibilities
- Verify inventory levels and report discrepancies when identified.
- Cross-check shipping invoices and related documentation for accuracy.
- Receive, store, dispatch, and deliver materials to designated locations.
- Operate warehouse support equipment, including dock plates, trailer restraints, overhead doors, wrapping equipment, and banding equipment.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Knowledge
This position requires an individual who can work safely, accurately, and efficiently in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate understands warehouse operations and has experience handling materials and inventory. Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow established procedures are essential. Candidates should also be comfortable communicating with team members and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations and material handling.
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating warehouse machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
