Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor to assess information technology systems, internal controls, security processes, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will identify technology risks, evaluate controls, and provide recommendations to improve the organization's IT security, governance, and operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct IT audits, risk assessments, and control reviews.
- Evaluate IT general controls (ITGCs), application controls, and security controls.
- Review access management, change management, backup, disaster recovery, and system security processes.
- Assess compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify control weaknesses, risks, and potential areas of non-compliance.
- Develop clear audit findings, recommendations, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
- Follow up on remediation plans and verify that corrective actions have been implemented.
- Review system configurations, logs, policies, procedures, and other technical documentation.
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, and business teams.
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technology risks, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT auditing, technology risk, information security, or IT controls.
- Knowledge of ITGCs, access controls, change management, and cybersecurity controls.
- Experience with risk assessment and audit methodologies.
- Strong understanding of frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, or PCI DSS.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, CRISC, or CISM are preferred.
Pay: Up to $34.00 per hour
