Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant with phlebotomy to join a busy team.
Phlebotomy is a requirement for this position.
This position is 4 days a week 10 am to 7 pm with rotating Saturdays 9 am to 1 pm.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories
- Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate patient record management
- Conduct basic life support procedures when necessary
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to facilitate effective communication with patients and staff
- Phlebotomy skills
- Medical Scribing
Requirements
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Knowledge of women's health medicine is a plus
- Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient patient record management
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while managing multiple tasks efficiently
