Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Awning Fabric Patterner, Fabric Cutter & Installer to join our team. This role involves patterning frames, cutting fabric, heat sealing fabric and or preparing for stitcher to sew, and installing custom awnings for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and quality, experience with fabric patterning, and the ability to operate relevant tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where craftsmanship and customer satisfaction are paramount.
Must speak, read and understand English. Must have valid Driver License.
Responsibilities
- Measure and interpret design specifications to create accurate fabric patterns for awnings
- Cut and assemble fabric materials according to project requirements
- Install finished awnings securely on various structures, ensuring proper fit, function & quality standards
- Operate hand tools, machines, and safely utilize ladders and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate an organized fabrication process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project timelines and specifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabric patterning, sewing, or awning installation preferred
- Ability to read work orders, technical drawings and interpret measurements accurately
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical capability to handle fabric materials and perform safe installations at various heights
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
