Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Pool Service Technician to join our team as an independent contractor (1099). This is a physically demanding, fast-paced outdoor job where you will service residential pools independently after training. You must have a great eye for detail, responsible and honest.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain residential swimming pools
- Test and balance pool chemicals
- Skim, brush, vacuum, and empty baskets-every pool, every week, we dont skip anything.
- Identify and report equipment issues
- Complete a daily route efficiently and on schedule
- Communicate clearly with the owner regarding jobs and any issues

- Training period before working independently- THIS ISNT TO SHOW YOU HOW TO DO THE JOB, AS EXPERIANCE IS ALREADY REQUIRED, THIS IS FOR ME TO FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH YOU KNOWING THE POOLS, AND FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND WHAT I EXPECT.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of pool service experience (required, and I will verify with references)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- No criminal record!!!
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation to and from work (to pick up/drop off company truck)
- Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather conditions(all year round, summer and winter)
- Physically capable of handling a labor-intensive job
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Dependable, honest, and operates with integrity
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently after training
Compensation & Structure
- 1099 independent contractor position (responsible for your own taxes)
- Paid weekly (no deductions)
- Pay is per pool serviced, averaging approximately $28–$30/hour depending on efficiency ($14 per pool) All pools are close together in one nice area
- 3 SET weeks off per year. (Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, and the first week in february)

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
