Hardscape Crew Leader

Miller Landscape Inc. has proudly served Oakland County since 1966. We specialize in high-quality landscape and hardscape projects for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. We’re seeking a skilled Hardscape Crew Leader to join our team and lead projects that make a lasting impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead a 2–4 person crew on hardscape projects
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Install:
- Paver walks, patios, and driveways
- Block, boulder, and limestone retaining walls
- Operate equipment (skid steer, excavator, dingo, etc.)
- Read and interpret detailed construction prints
- Manage jobsite logistics: loading/unloading, moving tools and materials
Requirements
- Valid Chauffeur’s License
- Strong leadership and crew management skills
- Experience in all aspects of landscape and hardscape installation
- Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment
- Physically able to lift and move heavy materials
Preferred Qualifications
- CDL-A (or willingness to obtain after 1 year of employment)
- Experience in drainage, grading, and planting
- Ability to train and mentor laborers
- Spanish-speaking ability is a BIG plus
